More beautiful objects

I happened to stumble across yet another beauty! Not nearly as great as the abandoned piano but still charming.
I believe, although Im not sure, that it is a car radiator, if anything it is some type of radiator.
I love that it is used and damaged and from where I have removed it from where it was left it has bought some grass with it.

Stack of cards.

A collection of postcards, of 3 different designs

Smaller version using only one design of postcard. Works alot better

Made you Look

Call for proposals

Introduction:
Artists and creatives from Bath School of art and design are wanted to take part in Made you Look.
The 'Made you Look' is a student led exhibition taking place from 31st Jan till 4th Feb 2011. I am looking for artworks from Art Students in Year one, Year two and Year three, in all media;sculpture, film, painting, ceramics. fashion textiles, graphics .
The works will be installed in the Exhibition space at Sion Hill.
This is an exciting opportunity to make use of the exhibition space to step into the art world for your first or one of your first exhibitions. You will be able to demonstrate yourselves as innovative contemporary artists.I am looking for artists that play with these themes conceptually.
Theme:The basis for the project will be 'ready-made objects'. Whether your work is made from mass produced objects, found objects or spans from the idea of the ready made, all proposals are welcome.
Brief:Create a response to the theme of ready made. Create a piece that removes the object from its functional context and that makes the viewer look twice at an everyday object;objects are often over looked and ignored everyday, but can possess such amazing characteristics. Be innovotive and unexpected. Surrealism at its greatest!
Cost:As the Exhibition Space is free of charge, there will only be a small cost that will be put towards the opening night.
Deadline:The deadline for the submissions is Monday 17th Jan
Be aware of the Christmas break
Please send proposals to lauren.hudson@bathspa.org
For any more information or guidance please contact the same email

I really look forward to hearing from you!

Lonely day in the studio.

Finally finished the new tickets piece. The formality of the colours can really provoke a headache.
